Hudspeth River Ranch has been family owned and operated for over 100 years. The Ranch is located north of Comstock, Texas, and lies at the spring fed headwaters of the pristine, undisturbed Devils River. This West Texas ranch produces premium, mild, tender and delicious tasting lamb and goat.

We take great pride in knowing that our animals are grown naturally, without any grain, growth hormones or antibiotics. We make sure all animals are treated humanely, with respect and dignity in a natural environment.

We practice Holistic Management principles. This includes the "one bite method" of grazing where the animals only take one bite off a plant, ensuring the plant’s root system remains strong. Gates are opened every 3–5 days and livestock virtually move themselves to fresh pasture consisting of a variety of native grasses, high protein forbs, wild oregano, wild sage, bushes and plants.

Hudspeth River Ranch Lamb and Goat is USDA-Inspected, processed, frozen and cryovaced to retain its freshness and flavor. It is available year-round and can be purchased by individual cuts, halves, or wholes and shipped anywhere in the U.S. with dry ice and an insulated box. Delivery is available anywhere around the San Antonio Area.
