Johnston’s Farm, LLC, “Your Local Clean Meat Connection,” is a small family farm business located in eastern Manatee county and serving southwest Florida.

Our goal is to produce healthy, nutritious food for families within our food shed. We have tried our best to model our farm after the practices of Joel Salatin’s “Polyface Farm.” We control all aspects of our farm business. Our animals are raised and slaughtered humanely, and we make sure that our pastured grass fed products are the best you can get. We raise and sell pastured poultry (chickens, eggs, turkeys) (All vegetable diet no animal by products), 100% grass fed and finished beef, and range Berkshire pork. Buying bulk beef and pork with a custom slaughter is the most cost effective way to purchase your meat, however we do offer USDA inspected cuts as well.

We use our hens and roosters as our natural pest control and fertilizer. We use no pesticides or artificial chemicals on our fields. We strive to feed our livestock the diet best for their digestive system, this in turn produces healthier, happier animals. Our grass fed animals are rich in Omega 3 fatty acids, CLA, and beta carotene. No antibiotics! No hormones! No chemical additives!

We do not ship our products - You can pick-up your order at the St. Petersburg market or some folks prefer to arrange pick up at our home in Bradenton. We have an open door policy at the farm but due to its location it is not convenient to most folks for a pick-up. Contact us if you would like a farm tour. All our bulk beef is picked up at our Bradenton location.
