Meadow Maid Foods, LLC grass-fed beef is produced for the heart, from the heart.
Our beeves are raised from birth to processing on a single ranch in southeastern Wyoming, with respect for the cattle, and in harmony with nature. Cattle graze on native and irrigated pastures year-round, without feed supplements. (Rarely, we supplement with hay during a severe winter storm.) Many people are surprised to learn that cattle can graze year-round in Wyoming, until we point out that the deer and antelope have done so for millennia.
Pastures and animals are free from pesticides, herbicides, added growth hormones, and antibiotic applications. Stress is minimized by calving in sync with nature, and animal-handling facilities are based on a low-stress Temple Grandin design. Beef is processed at an owner-operated, custom, USDA-inspected facility, aged for tenderness, and vacuum-packaged to maintain quality.
Quality grass-fed beef is available year-round, directly from Meadow Maid Foods, and at the Food Co-op, 205 E Mountain Avenue, Fort Collins, CO.
