About this farm
Short Shadows Farm, located just north of Sioux City, Iowa, is now offering grass-raised beef by the pound. Our inputs include: fresh pasture, clean water, sunshine, and stored hay during the winter months. The herd is comprised of full-blooded, registered, Belted Galloways. This breed wears a long winter coat, usually between four and eight inches. This winter coat negates the need for fat on the animals. We have extremely lean meat product animals that receive no shots or supplements, other than free choice natural minerals. The Short Shadows Farm price list on meat is listed on the website along with information on our local CSA and country store.
