Sprout Creek Farm, located in New York State’s Hudson Valley, is a 200 acre working farm with a mission of combining agriculture and education to achieve the objective of teaching the whole person by providing real experiences of the working countryside.
Processing milk into cheeses, whose quality depends on our own management of soils and pastures and attention to the needs of the animals that graze them, provides ample opportunity for education across many disciplines, and of course, for tasting pleasure on dinner tables in the Hudson Valley and beyond.
Currently our cheeses are sold in a variety of stores all over the US, most notably in Murray’s in NYC, Tomales Bay Food Co. in California, and in many places between coasts. Our products are hormone and anti-biotic free; our animals are pastured year round.
