Alabama Acres

Alabama Acres is a biodiverse farmstead offering a variety of pastured meats, pastured eggs, vegetables, and fruits throughout the seasons. Everything is grown with beyond-organic methods and we passionately practice regenerative agriculture. We attempt to mimic nature in everything we do. No chemicals, hormones, antibiotics, pesticides, herbicides, or other garbage is allowed here.

We raise Kune Kune x American Guinea Hogs who live in the ultimate pig paradise. They provide red, rich, pastured pork like nothing you've ever seen in a store.

We also pamper our sweet chickens who graze freely all day and take naps in the sunshine. They provide us with gorgeous, decadent pastured eggs year-round and pastured chicken twice per year.

You'll also find guinea fowl free-ranging here. They provide us with rich dark meat and more pastured eggs, if you're looking for something different.

Our produce is grown the way nature intended it to be. We employ organic methods of pest and weed management and the no-till method of field cultivation to most effectively conserve water and soil. We also built an aquaponics system which harnesses natural symbiosis at its finest.

Following the theme of "nature knows best," we also offer a line of all-natural, hand-crafted Health and Beauty products including healing balm, pain relief balm, body butter, lotion bars, lip balm, herbal tinctures, and bug repellent spray and soap.
