Bluewater Creek Farm is a small-scale, high-diversity, sustainable family farm. We raise 100% grass-fed beef, heritage breed pasture-raised pork, pasture-raised chicken eggs, vegetables, fruit, and honey. Our mission is to provide nutrient-dense clean food to local people and to educate our community about the health and nutrition benefits of eating real food. We use sustainable practices that work with nature such as: management intensive rotational grazing, choosing breeds for characteristics suited to grass-based agriculture and our local environment, crop rotation, composting and many others. Our pigs and chickens are fed a non-GMO, soy-free, grain-based feed in addition to what they eat in the pastures. We rotate the pigs under oak trees to forage for acorns in the fall and winter. Our cows eat grass and hay 100% of the time. Our raised bed garden is filled with our made on farm compost. We do not use chemical or synthetic pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or fertilizers. We have beehives that produce honey and we host events at our barn.
