Carney's Pastured Meats, located in Canby, Oregon, offers pastured pork, lamb, chicken and eggs.
Pastured Pork: Hogs have free access to their barn, pasture land, forest land and even a wallowing area in hot weather. We feed a local, freshly-milled, no-corn, no-soy ration, along with dried pumpkin and apples when available. We handle our hogs daily so they are low stress on dispatch day. Pork is sold by the 1/4, 1/2, or whole and is $4.00/lb hanging weight plus kill, cut and wrap fees. $100 deposit required to reserve your whole or half hog.
Pastured Lamb: Lambs are raised on grass and perennial pasture with supplemental grass hay as needed. We raise a mix of Dorper and Katahdin hair sheep known for their very mild sweet meat. Lambs are sold by whole or half for $7/lb plus kill cut and wrap fees with a $100 deposit to reserve.
Pastured Chicken: Poultry is $5.00/lb whole or $5.70/lb cut up, with a $10 deposit each to reserve your birds. Birds are raised in pens moved daily or twice daily to fresh pasture and fed a non-GMO, locally-milled ration.
Pastured Eggs: $6 dozen. Fed a non-GMO, local, freshly-milled ration.
