Earth's Echo Farm is a family-owned, pasture-based operation established in 2014. We use the natural world as our model, building a healthy landscape while producing sustainable, ecologically responsible, and nutrient dense food.
Pasture-raised chickens: Our mobile shelters are moved daily to ensure our birds are happy and getting the omnivorous diet they naturally seek. In addition, they are fed Non-GMO Project verified feed, that is also laboratory-tested to be pesticide- and herbicide-free and grown in the USA. We process on farm and do everything possible to ensure our chickens have a stress-free life and a compassionate, respectful end. We offer whole chickens and a variety of packaged parts (frozen and vacuum sealed).
Eggs: We go the extra mile to give our layers a happy pastured lifestyle, supplemented with certified non-GMO, lab-verified pesticide- and herbicide-free feed. They are housed in a luxury mobile coop and moved regularly onto fresh pasture.
Grass-fed/Grass-finished Beef: Mimicking the natural migration patterns of wild grazing animals, our cattle are moved daily onto fresh pasture. We do not use any growth hormones, antibiotics, or any grain whatsoever. This is 100% grass-fed and grass-finished! We offer retail cuts in addition to bulk orders of whole, half, or quarter beefs starting in the summer of 2018.
Farmers Markets: South of the James Farmers Market in Richmond and Colonial Beach Farmers Market.
Where else to find our products: Kickshaws Downtown Market in Fredericksburg, Harvest Market in Spotsylvania, and in these fine restaurants: Spencer Devon Brewing, Cork & Table in Fredericksburg, The Tides Inn Market in Colonial Beach.
Location: We are on Route 3, four miles east of downtown Fredericksburg along the shores of the Rappahannock River.
