Freedom Acres LLC

Freedom Acres LLC is a family farm in western Chester County, Pennsylvania. We strive to produce all-natural foods that are both of superior quality and affordable. Our mission is: To produce nourishing foods that impart health and healing to the consumers thereof, in a manner that maintains and improves the natural elements of the earth, honors God, and respects creation.

We currently offer grass-fed milk and dairy products, pasture-raised GMO-free chicken and turkey, grass-fed, grass-finished beef, and woodland pork.

Our dairy is 100% grassfed in a managed rotational system that includes hay feeding on pasture in winter (except in inclement weather). All dairy products are raw and minimally processed.

Our chickens and turkeys are raised on pasture in floorless portable shelters and are moved every day. We sell chicken as whole chicken as well as in breast, wings, thighs, etc. (fresh and frozen), turkey as whole turkey at Thanksgiving (ground turkey and parts throughout the year). We also produce free-range soy-free eggs from totally pastured hens.

Our beef is 100% grassfed in a managed rotational grazing system, and grass-finished. Our pork is fed dairy whey and GMO-free grain and is raised outdoors on pasture and in woodlots. Both pork and beef are available by the retail cut as well as in bulk quarter, half, and whole carcasses.

We use no synthetic growth hormones, no drugs or antibiotics, no chemicals, and no genetically modified grains. Our management practices are beyond organic, but we haven’t sought certification. We process our poultry humanely on the farm under the Pennsylvania exemption PL90-492; beef and pork is processed by local butchers. We have an on-farm retail store that is open 9 AM to 6 PM Monday thru Saturday, and also offer buying club deliveries within Pennsylvania.
