Mirror Image Farms

Mirror Image Farms in Lancaster Pennsylvania is located about 30 minutes south of Harrisburg, 30 minutes west of Lancaster City, and 30 minutes north of York, PA. We are a small, perennial and pasture-based farm promoting natural fertility and low maintenance health. Our mission is fairly simple: 'To observe nature and copy it.'

We offer organic transition, GMO-free pasture-raised pork, grassfed and finished beef, chemical-free fed and pastured chicken and turkeys. We raise our animals without chemicals, focusing on natural health of animal and soil, but we are not certified organic.

Our pastured pigs are rotated through clean fresh pastures, as well as having access to a shaded, wooded area. We have our own sows, and the pigs spend their entire life on our farm. Our heritage breeds include Idaho Pasture Pigs and Tamworths, crossed with Berkshires, creating flavorful and healthy meat. We raise a litter of soy-free pigs once a year.

Our beef herd is moved to new pasture at least once a day, providing fresh forage for the animals, and providing nutrients to the pasture before the ground is left to regrow. Breeds include Black Angus, Red Devon, and Shorthorn.

Our pastured poultry are fed organic transition grain, and pastured in shelters that are moved daily.

We sell pork by the whole, half, and quarter animal, and sell beef by the whole, half, quarter, and sixth animal. We also offer a monthly meat share of 20 pounds or 10 pounds/month, with a few pick-up locations in Lancaster County, PA. Chickens are sold whole, or parted. Chicken and turkey should be pre-ordered, but some may be currently available. Our pigs and beef are processed through a USDA inspected butcher shop located in Mount Joy, PA and are nitrate-free.
