Parker Farms Natural Meats has been practicing managed grazing since 1997 and selling 100% grassfed beef since 2001. We are a family friendly farm with our children very much involved in what we do. We do not sell anything that we would not feed our own children.
Our 100% grassfed beef are mostly a mix of Red Angus and Hereford breeding that we have selected for smaller than average frame size. This smaller frame size allows them to perform well on a grass diet. In the winter we do feed hay and they always have access to free choice salt and mineral. They are never fed grain or given growth hormones or antibiotics. We also don't use insecticide ear tags or chemical pour-on pesticides. Our hogs are a cross of Hereford and Berkshire breeding mostly and are raised outdoors on dirt. They are fed a non-gmo corn and soybean meal feed. They very much have the ability to express their unique characteristics of being hogs. They also are never fed antibiotics to promote growth.
We raise pastured chickens for meat and eggs and turkeys in the summer and fall. They are fed a mix of non-GMO corn and soybean meal that is not medicated. They are raised completely on pasture after they are just a few weeks old.
We also raise Katahdin sheep on pasture and sell 100% grassfed lamb. We have several options for purchasing from sides and quarters to individual cuts and CSA bundles.
