Ruth Ann's Garden Style Beef is produced on a 140-acre "all-grass" farm about an hour from Washington, DC and Baltimore and 20 minutes northwest of Frederick, Maryland. We are the third generation to manage the farm, which has been in the family since 1938.
We practice management intensive grazing, a pasture system that utilizes multiple smaller pastures with frequent animals movements. This allows better weight gain and is more environmentally friendly, resulting in a much healthier and nutritious pasture.
Ruth Ann's Garden Style Beef is:
Naturally fattened, dry-aged beef grown on a succulent "garden" of grasses, legumes, and forbes
Healthy, tender grass-fed beef
Tasty, with a bold, robust flavor
Free from added hormones or antibiotics
High in Omega 3 fatty acids
High in CLA
Aged for 3 weeks to promote tenderness (beef in grocery stores is not aged)
Sold in bulk packages as well as individual cuts, ground beef, and patties
