Shadowchase Farm is a family owned and operated farm with 250 acres of pastures and hayfield-pastures. We practice rotational grazing and focus on naturally raising grass-finished beef.
Free of growth hormones and preventative antibiotics, our product is an exceptional beef that is not only good for you but tastes great. We market directly to the public, selling our beef by the hanging half, split half, and 20-lb. or 40-lb. family packs.
Our herd is primarily Black Angus that are crossbred to Gelbvieh bulls. Our beef is harvested at approximately 24 months of age, allowing for the animal to finish growing and marble out. It is processed locally, dry-aged for 16-21 days, vacuum packed, and frozen prior to pickup or delivery.
