Tucker Family Farms. Our "farm to family beef" is produced using the grass found here on our farm at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our farm is a recipient of the Chesapeake Bay Soil and Water Conservation Award and our family was named the National Beef Producer of the Year in 2000 by the Beef Improvement Federation. We are also certified by the Beef Quality Assurance Program.

The beef that you buy is backed by over 25 years of experience and a commitment to the care of our animals and the land. Careful breeding for traits such as muscle and marbling allow us to offer not only a product that is farm raised, but is superior in quality.

Fifty years ago family farms were prevalent in Virginia and most people either lived on or were one generation removed from a family farm. People knew who grew their vegetables, gathered their eggs, and raised their beef. There was a relationship between the family sitting down to eat a meal and the family who grew the meal. We at Tucker Family Farms want that back—not only for our family, but for the people who believe that how your food is produced matters. We hope that you will share that vision.

We also offer internships for those interested in learning more about a career in farming. We offer "A Day on the Farm" programs for an interactive experience on a cattle farm.
